Hammamet was my favorite place in all of Tunisia, and Dar El Hammamet was my favorite of all the places that I stayed. The atmosphere is enchanting and magical, the location in the middle of the Medina is perfect, the service is friendly and the breakfast is amazing.

Amazing place to stay in the heart of the city. Marwa and staff were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was so delicious and the room relaxing!

The hotel is right at the center of Hammamet, beautiful and peaceful area. There is plenty of shopping and food around, there is also a beach just outside the town. You need to be independent and low maintenance at this hotel due to staff being a bit cold and unavailable at times. The manager is the only English speaking person, and he can be reached through WhatsApp.

Home Away from Home

Wow wow wow!! This place is incredible! Management is so helpful and sweet. They made out stay feel like home away from home. The community is very sweet as well and were helpful in navigating the winding streets of the Medina. We slept so well and had all we needed for a wonderful experience in Hammamet. Breakfast was delicious. Very picturesque room and common areas. I can’t recommend this place enough.

the place is beautiful, we spent 6 days in the royal suite. Big Room five stars apartments with spa, living room etc. Marwa the manager is very effective in assisting you on every request, the personnel (kitchen and room service) are very attentive. Huge breakfast, the B&B is located in the Hammamet Fascinating Medina very close to main city services (resto shops beach etc). Room cleaning and making up is only on request so if you need it daily just ask. All the house is monitored with cc cameras so it feels safe. We enjoyed also the possibility to use the kitchen all time long. It can be important if you get bored of too much spiced food the tunisia cuisine offers. SuperMarkets and municipal market with fresh veg and fruits are 5 min walks. Thanks

We were treated exceptionally with great attentiveness. Malek , the property manager, went above and beyond to accomodate all of our needs. He was always available and responsive to help at any time. Highly recommended. A 5 star rating is not enough.

This a beautiful property but not easy to find ! The host wasn’t there when we arrived just gave us a code to get in and there was only someone there in the morning to serve breakfast and didn’t speak English. We had their large suite with two large roaches in the room . The next morning there was no one to help with the luggage since this place is in the middle of the madia. All the other places we stayed which were Dar in the madina had someone available 24 hours on the property. I would recommend they have someone there all the time to help their guest or advertise that they don’t offer it at this property . If we didn’t have a driver we couldn’t find this property ! Also no hair dryer shampoo or soap in the room . They has a dispenser on the wall in the shower with something in it which I don’t know if it was shampoo or soap! The bed wasn’t comfortable at all with no sheets for under the blanket just had a fitted sheet! This property is not managed well at all even though it is very unique and beautiful. We toured around Tunisia for 12 nights !

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Gasthaus Dar Hammamet in der Altstadt von Hammamet. Das Personal war sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist zentral und perfekt, und die Sauberkeit war top! Das Bett war äußerst bequem, und das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Besonders schön fand ich die Kombination aus dem alten Lebensstil der Tunesier und modernem Luxus. Das kostenlose WLAN hatte eine gute Geschwindigkeit, und die Klimaanlage war überall vorhanden. Der Strand ist nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, was super praktisch ist. Außerdem gibt es eine kostenlose Waschmaschine und eine gemeinsame Küche, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Ich kann dieses Gasthaus nur empfehlen!
