The hotel is in an excellent location for restaurants, fast food outlets and transport as the hotel is practically opposite the main train station. Our room was adequate and clean. Continental breakfast was very nice. My only concern was the twin mattress. Mine kept sliding away and had a big dent in from someone quite heavy in weight I would say. I kept trying to fall off the bed. Once I changed the mattress around it was fine. I enjoyed my stay in Hotel Continental.

The room was clean but very small. Great view out window. We thought it was very noisy first two nights then realized the window was open at top. Once closed still noisy but less so. Across street from Central train and subway, one block from bus stop. Very convenient! Breakfast was good, Grrman style.

We stayed here for a quick overnight stop in Hamburg when we were coming from Amsterdam to Copenhagen. The breakfast buffet was lovely. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. There are some great restaurants, pubs etc right there in the area.

A fair warning: beds are hard and then I mean so hard that a stone bench would be softer. Another thing that seams can happen is the tax fee you pay - if doing it with card it can refuse so have €5 with you

We have stayed here on and off for about 20years. Ideal location, excellent value, friendly staff, good breakfast. Rooms are small but adequate. You are only sleeping there. Spotlessly clean bathroom towels and bed linen. Need refurbishing but thats my only negative.

The room was clean but the bathroom fan was extremely noisy and loud. One cannot sleep if the fan is on. I am surprise the hotel does not replace such a malfunctioning bathroom fan. It shows poor hotel management.
