Small rooms, great location
Even though this hotel is a bit outside of the downtown area it is fairly quiet from outside noise. It's about a 7-minute walk from an EDEKA and an ALDI and it's right off one of the subway stations (S4, I believe). The staff was also friendly and the rooms were clean. Since this place is a bit more isolated, no restaurants are nearby. Also, we were in Hamburg during the weekend, so it was a bit noisy in our room with people (and kids) stomping around on the floor above us. I think on any other weekday the hotel would've been quieter, but that would be the only thing I'd complain about. Still a solid choice for a hotel

Phone in room didn’t work so had to go to reception to order room service (room service menu was placed in my room). I was told at reception that room service wasn’t available and I’d have to go to the buffet area instead. No restaurants around the hotel so no choice but to use the buffet.

Bring earplugs. There is an air condition unit in the flats. You can try to put it in sleep mode, but there is a constant rather annoying hum regardless. I suspect it's the air condition from the adjacent rooms. In either case, the staff said that it's normal, and we couldn't have muted it entirely by any means. Otherwise, the room was good. Bring earplugs.

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm aber nicht besonders. Der Balkon zur Elbe ist wunderbar, die Einrichtung der Zimmer leider ein wenig trostlos und einfach gehalten. Das hatte ich mir bei dem Hotel und den Bewertungen anders vorgestellt. Das Hotel hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre, an der Rezeption ist definitiv noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Obwohl vorher angekündigt ist so einiges schief gelaufen…

Rauschen der Lüftung ist nervig. Um sie abzustellen muss man das Fenster öffnen. Dann nervt der Verkehr. Man kann auch die Zimmerkarte rausziehen, hat dann aber keinen Strom. Alkoholfreie Cocktails sind nicht verfügbar oder nur als Kinderdrink gekennzeichnet.

Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, für jeden etwas dabei. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und sauber. Allerdings war das Bad mit Dusche sehr eng. Die Toilette war separat, allerdings ohne Waschbecken. Sehr viele Streifen und Flecken an den Wänden. Ein Neuanstrich wäre nötig, Türen schon sehr angeschlagen. Trotzdem ein netter Aufenthalt

Personalet i receptionen og restauranten havde svært ved at begå sig på fx engelsk og var ikke super imødekommende. Morgenmadsbuffen var lækker og stor. Aftensmadsbuffen var under al kritik og kan bestemt ikke anbefales. Prisen og kvaliteten hørte langt fra sammen. Værelserne var store og lyse.
