Immediately upon arriving at check in desk we were given the privilege of checking in to our room 5 hours early simply because we were not familiar with the area and had bags with nowhere to go. We recommend anyone needing a quiet getaway to book a room at The Barrington. Any deficiencies you may notice are made up for by the professionalism, friendliness and commitment of all staff to make you feel like you’re worth their time and effort. "I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. Whenever I stay here, I feel like I am staying at a friends house. The rooms just feel so homey and cozy. A little bit outdated but I think it lends to the charm of the inn. When you walk in to the main building (there are 3 buildings in total), there is a super cozy library room with a fire place and you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The hotel and rooms are very clean. I have always received great customer service. I really love the location of this hotel as it is within walking distance to the waterfront. This hotel feels like it is a 10 minute walk from almost everything - Spring Garden Road, restaurants, and the VG Hospital. It's in a great location. The only downfall for some people might be that there is not an elevator in any of the 3 buildings. "
