"The position of this hotel is wonderful. Some rooms have a magnificent view of the lake. Also the entrance hall is impressive. Our Room showed its age; bathroom has been remodeled; very simply furnished. Towels were greysh and looked like they had been in use for a long time. Biggest disappointment was the sauna / bath house. Visibly old, small for the size of the hotel, just two stall for hair drying, no fancy lotions.. my local YMCA looks fancy in comparison. "This is a pool and hot tub "condo" for rent. The facility is really clean and the staff are nice, but the walls are a bit thin so no bubbles in the hot tub after 11pm. The biggest let down is the area and building around the hotel are a complete dump. I know this is out of the hotels control but the near by rocky beach is just filled with trash as is the direct area around the hotel. No not a pile here or there, I am talking people tossing out everything imaginable in order to save a few bucks....
