So when I arrived (quite late) there was nobody there and I had to wait half an hour for the hosts to come. The property does state check-in is until midnight, but there is no way to contact the hosts without calling them, and they don't speak English - this is a problem if you are a tourist and don't have a South Korean phone number. On the plus side, I had the entire flat to myself as there was nobody else staying there. It feels more like an airbnb than a hostel in that regard - it's basically just 2 rooms. If the check-in process can be sorted out, then it's a decent option for Gwangju.
