"Our room was very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. Our only suggestions would be to add room darkening shades as light filtering in from above and below the curtains was an annoyance for those of us who prefer darkness to sleep. Also while the worn leather couch is comfortable, it is very hard to get up from as its so low. Could also station the tv between couch and bed ao people have the choice to watch from bed or the couch."

"We were in awe when we first pulled up. The front desk personnel were so nice. The room was cozy and clean. We were not a fan of the creaky hardwood floors, but not a deal breaker. But you must climb the spiral staircase and go out on the observatory. Breath taking☺️"

"It is an old style hotel without indoor hallway. When outside is cold. It is hard to open door. In addition, there is no effective way to get fresh air to keep good indoor air quality."

"I strongly recommend this hotel for you. The reasons are as follows: It is a customer-friendly hotel, especially when you talk to the manager. It is very clean, with no unpleasant smells in the rooms. It seems like a safe place to stay, located in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains."
