Continental breakfast with espresso drinks available was appreciated. Quiet and peaceful. Guidance on local restaurant options was helpful. Only downside was lack of working main heater in room, which was not disclosed to us when we were 'upgraded' to this ocean front room. Only source of heat was a 'fireplace" which turned out to be a small desktop electric unit.

Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. Beverages are also available at the front office for a minimal fee . Walking distance to most eateries

I loved the view from outside and the many chairs overlooking the ocean were wonderful. We would have used your firepit but it was too windy when we were there.

This property was amazing.The host is just the nicest person, very communicative and available day or night. My room was immaculate, and the views at this property were absolutely incredible.You can walk the bluff and overlook the ocean views. It's pet friendly and my little dog had a wonderful time staying here as well. There's a fire pit and outdoor seating. There are benches all along the bluff and places to sit and meditate or be still and reflect. I just enjoyed the overall time that i was here. I also got to see whales right off the shore. Highly reccomend the surf inn.

While this is a small property and rooms are not large it is a very nice property. Rooms are clean and comfortable and staff is very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much. They have also put back into place a nice grab and go breakfast with quite a few options.

The Surf Inn is a great place to stay. We enjoyed the quiet and quaint room that we stayed in. The office manager, Jade, was warm and friendly. She went the extra mile to suggest places for us to visit on our way up to Fort Bragg. Also, the state-of-the-art coffee machine in the lobby brews delicious flavored coffee! I will definitely stay here again in the future.
