"Grounds were beautiful! No complaints, just my thoughts...food was good but lacked selection and variety. Staff were helpful however the bartenders did not seem as upbeat and friendly as other resorts we have visited. Entertainment in the evening was lacking, not enough places with music and/or dancing until 11pm. Overall the property was very nice, just needs updating. I am guessing COVID hit this resort hard."

"The room was clean like new. The air conditioner worked great. The shower was soothing with good hot water. The cafe food was excellent and the choices were many. The staff was excellent, especially Astrid at the front desk and Mayia in the restaurant and coffee shop. "

"This is my come to place when I'm in the city. Easy in and out beautiful area. Close to a lot of things, and the TGI Friday!"

"We were a group of 5 adults and one 10 year old. There was something for all of us! The property, its price, accommodations and the staff are outstanding. This Marriott Hotel is not in the heart of Panama City, Casco Viejo or other touristy areas (about 20 minutes drive) but if you are leasing an automobile, parking is easy, only $10 per day and the highways are a few meters away. There is a bit of bumper to bumper situation when you leave the hotel during the week as the Busses Terminal is next to the hotel and there is only that route to leave the property. But this was negligible. The return is easy, right off the highway. However, this hotel is situated next to the largest mall in South America, and that was a fun choice with many stores and restaurants. Make sure to eat at the hotel - great buffet spread! Also, delicious food at the Bistro Cafe right off the hotel elevators and a step down into the mall (we ate there all of our breakfasts). Also great, dinner at the beautiful Ancon Hill Restaurant in the hotel. All great! If we return to Panama, we will definitely with no hesitation will stay at this Marriott."

"This place is amazing. I can’t stop thinking about it. We were looking for a peaceful place to be for the weekend and I have to say Villa Caprichosa didn’t disappoint us. From Diane the owner, Arturo the property manager to every single person that works there were so nice and attentive to every single detail. We are so happy we found this place and can’t wait to go back. The food, transportation, service, the beautiful rooms, the privacy everything surpassed our expectations. We are certainly going back."

"The room was very clean. It had a nice hot shower. The neighborhood is very nice. For a short walk there's a shopping center with a restaurant. The only thing is be aware that the staff did not speak English. "
