"We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. "My partner and I booked this property however when we arrived at 7pm, there was a large gate blocking the entrance and no one was there. We tried and tried to call and message the property and never received a response. La Fortuna is somewhat out in the country without many on the spot lodging options. "Gorgeous view of Arenal from our room patio. Great food in the hotel restaurant - breakfast was the best and dinner was quite good. All the facilities were top notch, including the two pools (heated and unheated) and swim up bar. On site hiking trail was beautiful and challenging. "
