"I’ve stayed at many places but this is definitely one of my favorites. The building looks brand new and very well-maintained. There is a hangout room on the top floor with a huge Tv and coffee machine. Next to it is a small gym with a bathroom and a shower! There is also WiFi that works very well in both rooms! "One of the best places that I have stayed! Staying at the hotel is like staying w. extended family. It is small and intimate and very well run. "Beautiful outdoor setting at the top of the hill, with beautiful blue pool and string lights. Great views of the surrounding area and nature. The cottages are clean and well done. "Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back."

"Such a beautiful property & great value!!! Unbelievable views from our room of the waterfall on property grounds. Photos of the property do not do it justice. We booked this very last minute due to a change of schedule due to rain & the host’s communication was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we loved our change of plans. Not only was this property beautiful & full of hummingbirds, but Bajos del Toro was charming & had so much to offer. "

"Shuttle service is infrequent and there is no sign at the airport indicating where or when you can expect the next shuttle. This leaves you prey to throngs of folk who are misinforming you about the shuttle in order to induce you to take a U$25 cab ride. We were at the appointed location 15 minutes before the shuttle was to pass but were told we’d missed it and would have to wait an hour. In the end it was 1 hour and fifteen minutes!"

"Congrats This is without a doubt the best Marriott hotel we have been to. The grounds are amazingly beautiful and well kept. The staff made our stay so enjoyable. They were always attentive and helpful. Not one time did I hear a NO. Very polite. The restaurants served large portions and were well worth the prices. Some observations: The sliding doors to the bathrooms are useless and make noise. The gardeners should use electric tools around the pool and rooms. Some of the toilets in pool Area are toooo small and wet ones. I would turn the driving range into a 9 hole pitch and put. Overall a wonderful stay. Norman R Wright Flynn. Room 460. Jan 4-9 2025"
