"Love the Apple Farm Inn and try to stay whenever in SLO. The rooms in the main inn are very spacious, individually decorated, comfortable, quiet and serene. The property has a pool and spa, will give you a robe on request. There is complimentary wine tasting from 3 pm till maybe 8 pm (?) and a bakery/breakfast restaurant on the property. The staff are very accommodating and it is a special treat staying there. Great night sleep on a super comfy bed in a serenely quiet Inn. Have not been in the adjacent buildings so cannot comment on those accommodations."

"My wife and I stopped here for a one night stay as part of our journey up route 1 from Newport Beach to San Francisco as part of our 25th wedding anniversary. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at this property. We loved the ocean front room we had with the the fireplace in our room and the fire pits outside. The views of the Pacific coastline and the sunset was breathtaking. We enjoyed walking to the pier in Pismo as well. There are are also several local dining options. We would absolutely stay here again."

Each room is individually themed, so selecting one that suits your preferences is essential. The “Just Heaven” room, with its enchanting design and stunning views of San Luis Obispo, stood out as an exceptional choice. While the accommodations and ambiance of the property are nothing short of remarkable, the dining experience fell noticeably short. We opted to try the steak entrees at the café, but unfortunately, the quality did not justify the cost. To make matters worse, one of us experienced food poisoning following the meal. This led us to avoid breakfast at the property altogether, opting instead for a more reliable option elsewhere. In summary, the Madonna Inn excels in aesthetics, scenery, and creating a unique atmosphere, but the dining options leave much to be desired. Guests would be wise to enjoy the charm of the property while exploring better culinary experiences offsite."
