"My room was clean and prepared when I checked-in and the staff was helpful and professional. The hotel is located next to Hermannplatz, which can get noisy and busy during the days since it's a hub for public transportation for the U-subway and busses, which can take you to all the main tourist spots in Berlin. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you want to balance saving money on hotel stays and being as close as possible to transit to the tourist spots. "

"Nice sized room with a comfortable bed. Not much in the way of storage. No air con so it was very humid at times as Berlin had a heatwave at the time of our stay. Karlshorst S-Bahn was a five minute walk away and there were a number restaurants on the main drag that the hotel was situated on. "Overall our stay was good. Downside is going to the hotel from the city and from hotel to Berlin Airport. Chose the hotel as it was supposed to be "near" the airport. It was "near" but we needed to take a taxi (40 euros, 15 minutes) as the airport terminal was on the other side of the runway. "This is a fantastic hotel; the family room is large with a separate single room. Breakfast was amazing with a huge range including plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. The only slight downside is the slightly dodgy area, many homeless and beggars around the hotel, but it was only a short walk to the U-Bahn. No air con but the fan made it bearable in the August heat. "
