"Very helpfull staff room was clean and tidy nice deep bath only problem i wasnt given the pass code for the gate and the wificode was illedgable needs to be written downclearly"

"The chalet was clean, although small, there was sufficient space for our motorcycle gear and space outside to leave luggage. The area around the lake is good for walking and due to it being end of season, very quiet throughout the day and night. The breakfast service was poor and does not represent good value. The first day there were no bowls for creals and no clean tea mugs. On the second day we were the only two diners. The cleaners were in the room drinking coffee when we arrived so there was not enough coffee left. I asked for more, they gave us a flask, locked the service room and left. They hadn't made more coffee but simply topped up the flask with water so the last bit we had was undrinkable. We then realised they had locked away the breads and croissants, leaving us nothing to eat. I told the office about this and as we had only eaten half a breakfast I asked for a refund of one but this was refused. We had a long ride that day and wanted a good start to the day, not to pay for the cleaners' breakfast. Overall the stay was good and I recommend it to others but advise against having the breakfast. "

Excellent food and a copious breakfast, with delicious organic fruit, cheese, meat and drink from the farm and other local producers. Ideal as a stop over travelling to or from the UK, or as a romatic getaway in the country."

"We only stayed for one night at this gorgeous hotel. It’s a stunning building which has obviously had a lot of money, time and effort put into it. The surrounding area is quiet and rural. Our room was compact but beautifully decorated in a traditional french style. We ate in the hotel on the evening, the service and food were lovely. Unfortunately due to an early start we were unable to have breakfast. "

"A very convenient place to stay on the way back to the Channel Tunnel. The rooms are comfortable with an ingenious bathroom “pod” similar to what you may find in Ferry cabin or Campervan. On street parking, in BLUE parking bays (Parking Bleu) from 18:00 is free until 09:00 and between 12:30 & 14:00. One and a half hours free parking is also allowed if you purchase a “Parking Disque” from the Bookshop close by. Secure Parking IS an available on request but I understand there are very few spaces, I think 3(?). Breakfast has a nice selection including boil it yourself eggs! The number 4 bus will take you from the station to the City on the hill or it is approximately 5 minutes by car. The Cathedral and Medieval streets are interesting with a LOT of history and there are nice places to eat, including the hotel opposite the Cathedral."
