A good spot in Lyon

"While a little "worn around the edges", this hotel is very pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed comfort is very good. We discovered a good bistro down the road - the midi-minuit - which actually closes at 10:30 (bizarre given the name). Looked at Georges bistro but was overcrowded and too noisy. If you arrive late, parking is free in the street. "

"I arrived to find there was no hot water, which was disappointing after a long journey. However, it was fixed by the morning, and I appreciated the prompt resolution. Other than that, the stay was pleasant, and the staff was responsive. Free parking. 2 miles away from city centre. Would highly recommend."
