"The hotel is lovely yet aged. Carpet could use an updated. Staff was absolutely spectacular! We did have an issue with our first room. We were quickly and efficiently switched to a new room that was a bit more spacious as well as received an apology. The staff everywhere in the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. The shuttle service came in handy numerous times and all of the drivers were wonderful! Especially Izzy! Thank you for the great stay. We definitely enjoyed the 8pm cookies! The hotel is in a great location to downtown. Carrie at the front desk was more than helpful and very careful with our family’s safety when it came to making new key cards for us. Also thank you to the char tender (blonde male) for filling a cup of milk for our our baby when we couldn’t get a gallon at the mart down the road. You saved our lives! Thank you everyone at Hotel Magnolia I hope we have an opportunity to visit again!"
"Very generously sized suite made us comfortable for our stay. I did not notice there was paid parking, so was surprised by the $15/day charge. Check-in time is 3, not 4 like our Expedia booking showed. Good breakfast options and very comfortable dining area. "
"Very cool historic hotel in walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Visitors must check out the speakeasy next door. "
