is an oasis on a hot summers day. We stayed in room 23 which is the turret without a roof and gave us access to outside space - we’d always wanted to stay in a Château and in a turret and this did not disappoint."

"Compact and well appointed , we liked the sliding shutters that kept out the sun, and tge masses of storage. It would be a great place to spend several days exploring the area. Julien and Angelique are good hosts who made us feel very welcome, and it was lovely to be able to have an excellent dinner there too after a long drive. We felt the only thing that let it down was the minimalist breakfast- not very good value. We would certainly return, but maybe not for breakfast."

"Lovely hotel close to abbey. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was superb - all locally sourced, beautifully cooked. Both nights I stayed there, it was fairly full with plenty of local residents- sue sign of a good place! Thank you for a good stay."
