"Staff is UNMATCHED and superb. Hotel sits right on the beach with 2 pools. There are plenty of beach chairs by the pool and on the beach. We only walked on the beach because it was just too hot to sit out there. Breakfast buffet had everything, Asian and western. There are plenty of activities to do on the resort. We saw people snorkeling, doing yoga, playing volleyball, etc. They have 24-hrs room service, which was great because we checked into our hotel about 10pm so was able to order food also. Our room was spacious with partial ocean view, which I paid for full ocean view. We were in Tower C, the next building blocked out the right side of the ocean view. The rug and end of bed chair had stains and the rug had a "lift" that me and my husband constantly tripped over. It was annoying. The hotel is far from the city. We had to get a Grab to go outside the resort and get food. The hotel is very nice but the surrounding areas are not, which is beyond the hotel's control. This is also the first hotel that I have ever been in that has TSA xray machine with walk through metal detectors. Good to know that the staff cares about our safety. The whole city has tons of security. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. "

"This property would have been top of the line at one point but is showing signs of aging now. The area around it has a lot of construction and looks like it will be much better as construction finishes. The room was big and was clean, the view of the pool was great, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything they could provide. The room it's self showed the same signs of aging though, just small things like a stiff sliding glass door and the room phone not working when we got there. I was only there for a couple of days and for what I needed it was a good fit, the staff more than made up for any of the minor inconveniences, and the price was good. I didn't go to the beach or use the pools so can't address that, the access to transportation was not the best but cab service was adequate, and once again the staff was outstanding. "

"We enjoyed the coco restaurant a lot. The food and service were great. The fruit drinks were excellent! However, we saw a rat twice during a dinner, and a stray cat that was lingering near tables. That is unclean and unsanitary. The staff didn’t do anything about it. That is a need for improvement, especially if you want to keep international travelers enjoying their stay and recommending your resort to others. "
