"We had a wonderful few nights in a yurt at the end of July. As a family of 2 adults and 3 children we found the space to be more than comfortable and spacious. "Ideal Rocks. This place is a proper hidden gem. On the waterfront and with fantastic dining options it was the perfect place to spend a pre Christmas getaway and mooch around the classy little town of St Mawes, which always seems to be bustling without being overcrowded even at peak times of the year. "Lovely hotel in a beautiful spot. We had a Seaview room on the second floor which was lovely but quite small. I would expect, for the price, there to be complimentary water in the room but there wasn’t. Dinner was superb. It was a job sometimes to get served, there weren’t many staff around. Could have done with a little more attention at breakfast. "

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, the setting was beautiful. The hotel was a bit dated and the room got very warm at night. The shower in room 10 was great. More sockets for charging were needed as there was only one, it would have been very difficult if I had been with my husband. The breakfast was lovely and they cooked what you wanted. It was a great location for me as my daughter was graduating from the university and it was only 10 minutes up the road. I only stayed 1 night but would loved to have spent another couple of nights. "
