Property very clean but needs updating as the family room we had definitely needed new beds. When in the bed mattress was so soft that it wasn’t straight and you felt like you were rolling out of bed due to people sitting on the edge over years. The single beds were so light that they moved across the room but also had very soft mattress and one had a great dip in the middle.

I was “upgraded” to a room under a hallway (I presume), there were sounds of children running above my room at many hours. The room had access to lake-side patio but that made it feel less secure as it was shared with everyone. Decor is in major need of updating. Had a bath, nice. Breakfast area has weird ordering of breakfast, person who was manning the area and taking orders clearly doesn’t like the job as I couldn’t feel how much I was inconveniencing him. Location and price were good

Lake and natural environment away from the car park is beautiful, but the hotel is tired, and needs a refurbish, everything is outdated ans needs a refresh from the furniture to the towels, the staff are deflated, and reflect the atmosphere of this uncared for unkept tired hotel. If it wasn't for the lake this would have been an awful stay, we were lucky it was one night.

This could be a lovely hotel but I found some things lacking bathroom floor was very dirty in the corners room first night was really cold heating would not work even the staff could not make it work fish dinner was not great more batter than fish few things let what could be a fabulous hotel wish I could tour this with owner to make suggestions

The room was spacious but not with bed and furniture very old. The shared areas (bar and restaurants) not pleasant. The external area is nice, its a shame that they dont invest in a good restructuring of the building.

We got here a bit earlier and enjoyed around a drink around the lake. Our room was very spacious on the ground floor with a patio. We had dinner and was really nice. The lady on reception leant us a charger as we had forgot ours. Staff are really pleasant and friendly.

The staff were friendly during my visit as they have been on previous visits. Some updating of the rooms is required and the cleanliess could be better in the bathrooms, but overall it is value for money for the state of some of the areas. Breakfast includes a good choice of continental and cooked options and is within the room price which is great value. I had a comfortable stay overall and reception noted down the 2 issues i had with the room (which didn't require a change of room)

We like the surrounding in special the lake was beautiful but inside room was a constant bad smell coming from the carpet. However the room was clean but due to the constant smell inside room makes us to rate the hotel very low. We left the windows open 24h but still not enough to remedy the issue we faced on our stay.

This is basic accommodation near a busy main road. The toilet in the room wasn’t fully clean and the towels were stained. The decor throughout the inn is dated. Whilst there is a nice view of the lake from some rooms, the outside seating areas for each room are exposed to all other rooms so there is no privacy. The restaurant food isn’t great, but just about edible. You know you are staying in a three star hotel.
