Modern, clean hotel with welcoming staff. Room had everything you would want from a hotel of this style: good TV, good WiFi, USB ports by bed. Really need to drive to get to/from due to limited public transport with also means if you are without a car the dining options are limited to this adjoining pub which is fine but limits variety! Neither is a fault with the hotel itself but need to be known for travellers.

I stay here reguarly with my family and away on ny own woth work. Some rooms are better than others and some times it can be a bit noisy (more so during school holidays), but overall when you get ut for a good price you really cant go wrong. Wish it was a bit closer to London but then it probably would cost more.

We all really enjoyed our stay here, in a family room. The staff were so friendly. We had ordered a cot that wasn't in the room on arrival, but the lady on reception sorted it straight away. I thought that the bed was a little hard but my husband thought it was great, so that's just personal preference. Lovely and clean, great drinks facilities in the room and good bathroom. Perfect location for travelling yet we didn't hear any road noise.

Staff were very welcoming snd friendly at reception. The room was spacious, clean and aircon was very welcome. The bed was lage and comfortable. The pub was delightful. Our waitress was so very attentive but seemed to be very over worked. She took our order and brought our drinks. The food was tasty and fresh. Unfortunately when we requested desert from another waitress she walked away, without replying. We noticed she'd gone to find our original waitress who had been put on fridge cleaning. After waiting 15 minutes, we went for buns to the coop. Breakfast the next day was the best buffet breakfast we've had. Tasty hot and plentiful. The staff were helpful and on hand. Overall 10/10, just the niggle over our poor overworked waitress.

The room was very noisy, Hotel is just around the corner from motorway. We had to keep the window shut all night, otherwise it would have been impossible to get any sleep. I did ask for quiet room........
