The property looked unkempt from the exterior. The room itself was clean. The hand basin did not hold water as the lift plug had been removed. The remote on the TV did not work and although this was exchanged, it still did not work. We were awakened constantly during the night by a fire alarm going off which was known to be faulty. Not sure if the other fire regulations were met in terms of exits. We requested a refund but none was given. Not a good experience and poor value for money.

Bad - Lumpy pillows, room missing milk on arrival. Hotel needs soundproofing. Unclear on breakfast- there was none. Good- proprietor tried to deal with noise after complaint and provided us with plates and cutlery when we had to get takeaway.
