"Unique rooms, does not feel like a big hotel"

"A very pleasant place to stay in a lovely town. Our room had a delightful view of the Ostsee and was most comfortable. I wish it had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but never mind. The attached bar - the Rockeria - is a bit like a TGI Fridays, with the same varied levels of service you’d get there! One guy looked like he’d rather we weren’t there, and another - Marco - went way out of his way to make sure we were happy."

"only negative for me was the breakfast. Would have liked a few sweet breads or rolls. Scrambled eggs were hard and dried out. Not into meats and cheese for breakfast, but that’s me. Should have gone next door for a cappuccino and cookie."

"I have a disabled child who needs his own room (I am the only one allowed to sleep with him as his carer) as he will not go to sleep otherwise. I booked a superior apartment rather than a studio apartment. The reason for booking a superior was that it is described as: bedroom 1 - double bed lounge with a sofa bed. This means that my son can have his own room to go to sleep. When we got there we found that the superior apartment was in fact just a large studio apartment with no bedroom. The staff were quite nice, but we're more interested in arguing that a large studio apartment is a one bedroom apartment as it has a bed in it. They were not interested in helping. It was getting late and Hotel.com were of very limited help and our call to them got cut off after an hour. I had to book a second room at a nearby hotel that we could afford as we had already paid for 2 nights at this hotel, which I was told was not refundable. Two of our party of 4 had to stay in the other hotel. I had to drive back and from their hotel to pick them up. Stralsund was meant to be the highlight of our trip, which is why I paid to stay in the centre of the city. This was not an enjoyable stay and a very costly one. I had to move wardrobes to try to make it like a bedroom for my son. Please do not describe a studio as a one bedroom apartment. If we were a standard family without disability it might have been ok, but we have specific needs for a disabled person."

"Es war alles sehr gut. Bis auf den Check - Out. Sehr unfreundliche Dame war heute früh im Einsatz. Keine Frage, ob der Aufenthalt gut war. Keine Wünsche für die gute Heimreise. Dafür: der Check -In war TOP! Am Tag der Anreise war der Diensthabende Kollege sehr sehr freundlich. So sollte und muss es sein. Danke für die schöne Zeit in ihrem Haus. Mit Grüßen C. Göpner "

"This is a lovely little hotel, easy driving distance from Greifswald. It is clean and very quiet. Although the restaurant does not operate every night, it is of good quality. The manager spoke excellent English. "
