Misunderstanding but customer service still off
I'll start with the positives, location is brilliant in that it's right next to the cathedral and close to walk to albayzin and other sights. The main corridor and lobby were also pleasant and nicely decorated with arab andalucian plasterwork. Room was ok size and beds were comfy.
On the other hand, service was not ideal in that i called the hotel a few weeks before coming to request a twin room with 2 beds instead of a double to which the guy on the phone said ok. Then when we arrived they had a double bed and could only offer us a twin with shared bathroom, which wasn't the cleanest but still slightly better than most other shared bathrooms I've used. All they offered in exchange for their error was a free breakfast at their other property, a b&b half a kilometre away.
