Very central location, charming old building, with lots of tapas bars & restaurants nearby. 15 min walk to Alhambra, parks, and 5 min walk to shops and cathedral. My son booked this hostel for us and we were worried about what we would find as it seemed to target young backpackers. We were delighted with the location and then delighted again at the warm welcome at reception. Lots of information given and we were shown to our room. It was basic but very clean, with private bathroom. Daily housekeeping, good wifi, a/conditioning. Large window overlooking the street below with tapas bars and lots of activity till early hours. There was a double glazed door, plus original windows and shutters so good barrier to noise. Breakfast was advertised in nearby cafe for €4 'made with love' - just up our street!! It was the cheapest place we stayed in during our visit to Andalusia and it was the most joyful. There was someone at reception until 10.30pm and they were keen to help or advise. There was a microwave in the corridor for general use. The young folks running this hostel were enthusiastic and worked hard to please. It was a nostalgic stay for us, now in our mid 60's & 70's, reminding us of the sort of places we stayed in when we were much younger!
