"The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"The hotel is modern and extremely well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding of good quality. There is a beach a very short walk away which was lovely and very quiet. Perfect for sunset strolls. The general area seems to be one that is currently being developed so it will probably become more lively in a few years, however this suited my husband and i as we would rather stay in a quiet area. We had hired a car so getting about to see Zadar town...

"Really great resort. Safe and good for family trips. The rooms are old and we have lots of bugs in it but the outdoor facilities and activities made up for it. Swimming pool is great and the beach is lovely. The dining option was great as well but we did realize some of the food were a bit off. "

"This is one of my favorite places I've stayed in recent travels. It was so cozy and comfortable as well as being convenient to entrances to the park. The family/staff are what make it so special. They are friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed having dinner and breakfast there. Would definitely return if we're in the area again."

"Really didn’t expect this place to be as nice as it was. We stayed for 2 nights and were in the Veronica build which had recently been renovated. The quality was excellent, with a large modern bathroom, high quality windows, and beautiful hardwood doors. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We did not check out any other activities so can’t comment on that. The dinner area was like a crowded pub by mountain inn and the food was good quality with lots of local fare including two types of rakiya. The only sad spot was the office which is a hodge lodge of pamphlets and items for sale but only the receptionist spends time there. Importantly it is a 5 minute walk to the very quiet and under used Entrance 3 to Plitvice Park. Absolutely can’t go wrong!!"

"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our visit to Plitvice National Park. The location is a 15 min drive for accessing the park, which made our trip easier. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite that was both spacious and well-equipped, including a full kitchenette, which added a lot of comfort to our stay. The room was quiet, making it easy to relax and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even more pleasant. We had entrance tickets for 7am (before breakfast started), so they made us lunch boxes—they were tasty and convenient. Parking was easy and stress-free. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!"
