They were more interested in making money than their guests’ comfort - I arrived on Friday with a very bad cold and was told that it wasn’t possible to turn the heating on and the only option was to use an extra duvet. They shouldn’t advertise that it has heating if they’re not prepared to use it! Heard everything from the adjoining rooms, including flushing the toilets. "I would stay here again. I’m very familiar with the area and was visiting a friend who lives locally. It’s in an excellent position for easy bus and metro access (and walking, now that Girona and Consel are pedestrianised) to other parts of the city. It’s two blocks from the sagrada and there are plenty of nice places to eat and lots of shops. The hotel itself is fresh and clean, and quiet. The staff are very polite and welcoming. The room also had a little fridge, which was great for milk to keep my coffees going :) excellent value for money. Wi-Fi was a godsend because my roaming wasn’t working. "
