"This establishment actually has no official stars. This is a richly deserved rating. Apart from one very kindly cleaning lady, I can not think of one positive thing to say about this "hotel". The sign on the gable wall tells you the hotel has been renovated. The notice in the plastic cubicle that is the "bathroom" (the door didn't close) tells you improvements will begin in September 2017. We found an infestation of flies on the nasty plastic curtain of the shower . And this was the better...

"We passed by Agen and decided to stay overnight. The property had been renovated by the current owner and host, Vincent, with tasteful decorations. He offered us excellent wine at evening hours. "I stayed here because there was a pool. When I arrived about 8 or 9pm there was a self-check-in at the gate. I was not sent a code, but a friend who spoke French called and got it for me. It was not sent through Hotels.com or by email. Without calling I would have not been able to stay here at all and would have been far from Agen with no room. "We stayed here in our way to Sete so it was ideal for us as we ony needed comfortable, clean accomodation and it is certainy that. The restaurant was closed but our host directed us to a cafeteria which was a good, and reasonably, priced experience."

"Wonderful location with splendid views over river from large room. We extended to 8 nights so obviously good but tiny tiny wardrobe so clothes around room. However , we saw other rooms had much larger later so should have asked to change. Excellent overall"
