"Location was good. Quality of food (breakfast & dinner) very good. Service from most, but not all of the staff. Carpet in hallways definitely needs replacing. For the price should not be charged $1.50 for each extra coffee pods. Would be nice if they had a shuttle to transport guests to town, as it was about 30 minute to walk there on the boardwalk. "

"It was a fine apartment, very close to the best beach in Lagos and scenic boardwalk trails! We appreciated the location, having so much space to spread out, and extra towels for the beach. We read the reviews ahead of time and were prepared for the downsides: off-site reception, attached to a condemned building, difficult to navigate the very tight parking lot, a cold pool that had not been skimmed of bugs, and the hot tub not functioning. "Lovely spa and breakfast was excellent. The free workshops that they run on all kinds of holistic therapies was a big plus. The water circuit spa was included in our stay and was lovely to do every day after a day out and about. "

"Our 2 night stay at the Penina was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. Every member of the team were so friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, the grounds and facilities at the pool were wonderful. The food in the Henry Cotton restaurant was excellent. We played tennis and the golf course was amazing and excellent value. We would definitely recommend and we are already planning to return to the Penina next year.
