The price we paid reflected the fact that the unit is tired and needing refurbished. That aside, everything else was good. The place was clean, beds comfortable, with adequate cooking facilities. Washing machine and dryer well used. Proximity to anywhere you needed to go, excellent. We would stay there again.

The property is quite dated, therefore some things need replacing. Carpet was frayed, fan in the bathroom didn't work. It was a 4 person room but there was only enough crockery for 3 people.

I’m not one to write a review but for the price you pay for this accommodation you should know what you’re getting. Parking is first in otherwise it’s street parking and that is hard to find in the area. The beds are uncomfortable and so are the pillows, it would probably be more comfortable sleeping on the floor. The room smelt like a swimming pool the whole time. The rooms were very outdated and not up to a modern standard. It was located well in Broadbeach but just needs some upgrades

The room stunk so much of bleach it gave us all head aches even after leaving the door open all day came back from dinner still couldn't get rid of the bleach chemical smell

When you book a room with a king sized bed you expect a king sized bed. This was two single beds pushed together and concealed under a king sized sheet. So there is a giant seam running the length of the bed making for a very poor sleep.

I'm not one to write bad reviews, construction in the room above in afternoon and next morning b4 8am, room was run down and needs a face lift, torn carpet, grotty bath room and not enough on site parking. Complained about noise and told it was within acceptable hours, greeted with cement grinding on left hand side of building when arriving. Bad value proposition, spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

Our 3rd stay at The Savannah, staff are friendly. Close enough to park the car & walk to beach , restaurants , pacific fair shopping & another centre closer . G light rail station close by & a great way to get around on the coast .

Probably drew the worst room - first residential floor and at the highway end - therefore no view of the sea or much of the hinterland. The bathroom had had a not so good makeover - spa good, shower head too low, short people would need a stool to get over the side of the spa to use the shower or spa, very poor lighting over the mirror. Could use some more hanging space (of which there is lots in the bathroom. No blankets that covered the whole bed and more, bed was comfortable enough. only one plastic table out on the balcony which we could just fit in the living room/ kitchen to eat off. Microwave and cooktop, just two of every utensil, no bread plates and no matching top for the frypan. I was visiting for a conference and my wife came for the Goldcoast warmth. She used the spa and pool a couple of times. We had to get a replacement iron as the one in the room was covered in melted plastic - couldn't be done on the Sunday we arrived but the staff on Monday morning were pretty prompt at replacing it. We didn't quite find where the gym was although we could have asked. So probably good overall if you get a higher room that is not the last one on the highway end.
