"Nice room and pleasant staff . Very good breakfast , Only thing that tainted our stay was the dog was not allowed to eat in restaurant and we were directed to the bar or outside . Neither was an option as the bar was packed due to sport and outside was cold . So no evening meal . Some leniency on our dog in restaurant would have been appropriate given the situation . "

"We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, and showed to our room which was spotlessly clean, if rather small, but perfectly good for a one night stay. Decor/furnishings/breakfast room really nicely done. There was lots of choice for breakfast (vegan options well stocked), however the was no 'full English'. Parking was road-side round the corner, but still within 50 metres."

"Another fantastic stay at The Godolphin for us! The staff are so welcoming, warm and gracious from the receptionists to housekeeping and the dining staff. They’re so accommodating and welcoming of our children, which is so lovely. The food is divine; I especially enjoyed the mushroom gnocchi and pork belly and my husband loved the fish and chips and chocolate fondant. "The older gentlemen at reception was so nice and polite, very professional and helpful. The room was renovated, carpets new, doors new, bathroom fine, mattress very comfortable. The only criticism is that the duvet cover did not smell nice. It smelt like dog was sleeping there or dirty socks. I think it was to do with the way the linen was dried and stored but not sure. We reported to reception next day. "

"Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks! "

"This was our first time using this website. The hotel was basic, We were not asked about what we required for breakfast. My wife does not eat a cooked breakfast normally. The breakfast was good, nice bacon, eggs but the sausages were not the best. There was no soap either in the shower or. toilet. The toilet had a leak on the outflow which l repoorted."
