"Comfortable room, though not large, with en-suite and a really comfortable bed. We were welcomed on arrival and helped upstairs with our luggage. We had key to come and go as we pleased and visited different places each day. Only one wet day, otherwise warm and sunny - good for October. Mostly came back to eat dinner at the Inn - food was delicious. Excellent breakfasts too. Staff did everything possible to make it a good holiday for us. Many thanks! "

"The hotel was easy to find, in a quiet location, and of excellent quality in every way. The room was comfortable and warm, the food at dinner was absolutely delicious, as was the wine. There was a separate quiet room to relax in afterwards complete with fire ! Breakfast was equally as good and the whole experience was a delight. I'm so glad I chose that hotel."

"We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome, and showed to our room which was spotlessly clean, if rather small, but perfectly good for a one night stay. Decor/furnishings/breakfast room really nicely done. There was lots of choice for breakfast (vegan options well stocked), however the was no 'full English'. Parking was road-side round the corner, but still within 50 metres."

"The staff at Portreath Arms were welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. My only complaint is that the bacon was overcooked, but otherwise the breakfast was lovely."

"Had a lovely time here, it was our anniversary and they made our table all pretty for our meal and upgraded our room. Everyone was so friendly and nice and couldnt do enough for you. The spa was lovely and the views are amazing. We have decided to go back every year for our anniversary as we loved the place that much ❤️"

"Staff were polite and helpful. Room was very dated and very small, but clean and comfortable. However the loud music coming from the bar below our room went on until 11 pm so if you want a quiet restful place to stay DO NOT CONSIDER this location."

"Relaxing two night break including breakfast and room service. Quality of food was excellent. Service was also excellent. The room was a very good size with a bath and separate toilet. The hotel is dog friendly and there is a great walk through the gardens, golf course and onwards to the South West coast path. "

"The property itself was very clean, new carpets, kitchen, clean bed and linen. Well maintained lawn and plants nice surroundings. It's the facilities that looks dated. There were No exhaust fans in kitchen and toilet. Fridge freezer and basic utensils in kitchen were very handy. The advertised picture shows 2 level house with a triangle shaped but the property given to us was a terraced property which I would not have surely booked if shown on the website so that bit is misleading. Tried swimming pool and sauna which was clean but looked dated. I did not try the entertainments and food to comment. The staff were very friendly. "
