Super easy walk to downtown and the hot springs. Hotel has lovely old charm. I would stay here again and recommend to folks traveling to Glenwood Springs

We so enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous historic hotel. We plan to come back. We took the train and appreciated the hotel had transportation from depot, and I sked at Sunlight and the resort bus stops there. Our meals at the hotel were delicious . This was amazing!! For the hot springs and vapor caves, everything was convienient and walking distance. Parking was never an issue, and the bus system was amazing! There was however, a gas leak, which was out of anyone’s control. This impacted our walkability to town as there is only one way to walk into town (we were told otherwise by the local firefighters). The hotel was quiet and a great historical landmark! The staff were always helpful and kind and the coffee shop downstairs is amazing!! We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere at the hotel is beautiful! It takes you back in time and the history is amazing! Very beautiful inside, comfortable rooms, clean, and walking distance to downtown and hot springs! Will definitely be back!

BEYOND worth the price. Super cute and lots of history in this place - many displays around to tell you about it too! We arrived pretty late at night and the guy at the front desk was SO nice and helpful. You can tell he really cares about his job. In a world where I feel like most interactions in the hospitality space almost make me feel like an inconvenience for staff, he completely changed my perspective. Such a genuinely nice guy. He even saw my fiancé and I reading one of the Roosevelt displays and made a point to come over and tell us where we could find more information and gave us some fun facts. Great spot! I wish we weren’t just passing through and had a couple more nights here! Parking is super easy and rooms are big- especially for the price!

We love historical places and architecture. They’ve upgraded just enough to keep the spirit of old with some modernity. Great bar, entryway with fireplaces is gorgeous. Hot springs is across the street. Love it.

This is such a beautiful and unique hotel. The Christmas decorations and lights were spectacular. They really go above and beyond. The staff was friendly and helpful. They accommodated our early check-in without a problem. It is an old hotel, so don’t expect all of the modern amenities, but that is part of the charm. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. The shower head was a bit low and it took a while for hot water but they do warn you about that up front. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance, and the hot springs are directly across the street. The fire pits and fountain are really nice. We really enjoyed our stay will definitely stay again.
