Gironico al Monte Holiday Rentals

"This was by far THE MOST amazing experience I’ve had with a hotel. The hotel it self is not necessarily luxury or anything super fancy, however the staff is BEYOND AMAZING. Let me start by saying that I am very grateful for receptionist Martina and the driver working Saturday 1/18. ( I was exhausted didn’t get his name 💔). We originally stayed in downtown Milan at a different hotel and booked this hotel for the last two days of our stay since it was close to the airport and they had a shuttle. I have purchased train ticket and take some research to take the train from Milan. Unfortunately the 1st train we needed to take broke down and was cancelled. We had to look for options and it was not easy, specially with luggage. Finally got to the train that what is gonna drop us off at the station there was about five minute walk to the hotel. Because we were supper tired we missed the stop, by the time we realize that we had already passed 5 stops. Got off and took the train back down to the station. We were supposed originally arrive at 8:30pm and because of all the up and down it changed to 9:40pm. I am so thankful I decided to message the hotel just to let them know that we’re gonna be arriving late. I got a message saying the reception closed at 11, I immediately panicked and called to ask if we can get picked up at the train station in Martina set it up so that we safely made it to hotel. Allows to order food 10 minutes before the restaurant closed. I will FOREVER grateful. "

"Very close to the airport, the people were very accommodating, specially the morning person at the reception who helped us to call Avis to replace our car that has a battery issue, and the bus driver who took is back and forth 2 times to the airport "

"We booked a last minute stay at this hotel for New Years Eve. We booked two rooms, and both were upgraded to have a lake view, and the hotel was kind enough to give us connecting rooms since we were there with our two tween sons. The hotel was in a PERFECT - PERFECT location!! The rooms were comfortable and had balconies. We would have had a perfect spot to watch all of the NYE fireworks, if not for the fact that our sons wanted to be on the lakefront. :) I absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Como!!!"
