"The property I stayed in, " a sea view apartment", No 11, looked directly over the new larger harbour of Monopoli and was adjacent to the castle tower. . The Xmas and New year decorations were still up and the whole area seemed to be decorated in the "old historic centre". Breakfast was very good. "Der Pool ist riesig und das Personal sehr freundlich. Deutsch spricht hier niemand, aber die meisten können so weit Englisch, dass man sich verstängigen kann. Die Apartments sind groß und wir hatten auch eine wunderschöne große Loggia, die wir sehr genossen haben. Allerdings sind die Apartments nicht besonders schön eingerichtet, und bei uns kam auch der Putz von der Schlafzimmerwand. "The staff was fabulous; both helpful and kind. We were unaware that caves are humid, which was our naivete. Breakfast was ample. Our cave was large and had lots of places to sit comfortably, inside and out. The only reason the stay was not 100% excellent was the humidity inside the cave despite running dehumidifiers and air conditioning. Having a sweet dog on premises was a bonus!"

"We found our home in Bari for 4 nights. We chose this apartment to be around the local community. We found it safe, authentic and unpretentious. The apartment is safe . The door is too safe and it required skill and patience to open it. Really triple locked. "We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the beautiful rooms, the stunning spa, the delicious and generous breakfast, and the spectacular surrounds. We felt totally spoilt for our stay. We parked about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, in a parking building (€1 per hour), which was handy enough to the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"This is a lovely hotel, beautifully renovated. I was very impressed. My room was large and comfy with amazingly high ceilings. The staff were helpful and friendly. This hotel is at the heart of Monopoli in the best position on the central square in the old town. The sea is one minute away. "
