"Staff were so friendly and helpful. Made it a pleasure. This might sound silly, but in much more salubrious places we’ve stayed, there is only one chair. The Matador had two around the table, plus one at the desk! Too easy. One of us didn’t have to perch on the bed. Could do with a bit of a freshing up with paint work here and there but the bathroom and toiletries were super. Including “Who Gives A Crap” loo roll!!"

"A very warm welcome on arrival, no fuss. Our room had been upgraded at no extra cost, it was beautiful. Spacious and comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The car park was easy and practical, however is a very bland and hot area. Some shade sails or trees would break it up. Otherwise, highly recommended accommodation at a reasonable price."
