"The Hostel is in the middle of nowhere and seems to be in the centre of a massive quarry. The room was okay apart from the toilet not fixed down the shower head was loose so it sprayed water over the shower cubicle, the tap in the sink was loose. and the noise from the other guests late at night was terrible, this part was not the hotels fault. on my last night the Restaurant wasn't open with no food for at least 40klm. Not the best experience. "

"We were given a twin room despite booking a double room, we were too tired to question because of the language barrier. The television downstairs was on constantly, even when no one was watching it, and was very loud, we could hear it in our room with the door closed. The bed linen was dirty and the floors were filthy underneath the beds, the furniture provided was cheap and falling to pieces. The female owner was very kind and brought us nibbles while we were playing cards. We communicated with her via Google Translate and thought we were understood. However, despite saying that we didn't eat meat we were served a plate of cold cuts as the main part of our breakfast. We asked for cheese instead but there was none. The rest of the breakfast was poor, the cheapest croissants and cakes that you can buy from the supermarket and coffee that had been waiting for us for more than 15 mins. I would not recommend this hostel at all. "

"This hotel is a strange place to review. Firstly, on a positive note, the staff were helpful and the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. However, there are some necessary issues to note. It’s difficult to locate as it lies behind a fuel station forecourt and isn’t very clearly signed. After investigating, we realised that reception was in fact located at the till in the garage! There is a secure car park at the rear of the property, of which we were unaware, until we had walked around the grounds, trying to find reception, whilst dodging dog poo and overwhelming smells of cat pee! We decided to check it out fully before abandoning ship. The rooms are set around a little courtyard, which is pretty and there is even an indoor swimming pool. It advertises as having restaurant facilities. The only place they had looked like it had been closed for years. We noticed the next morning that they did seem to be serving breakfast but we weren’t prepared to use the facility, had it have been offered to us. It was ok as a stopover but I can’t say I would feel happy to recommend it. "
