"Nice hotel. Fantastic view from restaurant terrace. The housekeeping needs to be much quieter early morning until about 9.30M as it is very noisy and the corridors are stone. Good staff on desk and in restaurant. Panoramic rooms should be marketed as partial pyramid view as you have to stand in a corner to see it. So a misrepresentation in my opinion. Giza does not have much to do except the pyramid and sphinx in one ticket. I would stay here again. "

"We had a great stay at the Sofitel. Friendly staff, nice rooms and a fantastic view over the River Nile and under the right weather conditions also the pyramids. With a room facing towards south we had direct Nile view all the way around us with a nice long distance to the busy streets of Cairo. The room was nice a cozy. Definitely not brand new, but clean and spacious. Only downside is the poor noice insulation of the balcony door. The party boats can be quite loud - so bring your earbuds!...

"This is a great budget hotel in downtown Cairo. Staff is incredibly friendly. Best part of the hotel for sure. It is on the 5th and 6th floor of a building so intially you need to climb some stairs. The elevator does work but you need a fob for it. Rooms are nicely renovated too. If you’re traveling solo or on a budget this is a great hotel. "

"Très belle hôtel. Service très bon. Très bien situé. Le seul point négatif est la climatisation dans la suite qui ne peut pas monter au-dessus de 20 degrés. Toute la famille est rentré malade."

"The room was a smoking room while we’ve asked for non smoking and we were told it has been changed; we checked the room the moved us to and it was still a smoking room with not clean tables so we complained next morning; they apologised and moved us to a much better room with full view on the Nile; from then onwards everything was arranged perfectly apart from the loud music noise late night"
