"Amazing"

"As it was off season the property was dark on arrival. I had trouble getting the lockbox open in the bitter cold. The place was really comfortable and spacious with all things supplied. However the sink in the bathroom was barely draining so we had to use the kitchen sink to brush our teeth. I called the number on the billboard outside to get the matter fixed but the response was in French only and spoken too quickly to copy down the email provided for contact. I know some French but not enough...

"As part of a two-week tour, mostly of the Gaspe' , we ended at St. Anne des Monts and stayed one night at Manoir sur Mer. This hotel has been at this site for probably over a century, in different forms. It's an older building, well-maintained and appears to be family-run.The nicest part (because we were lucky to have good weather in early October, 2024) was it is literally on the beach, at ground level. "A great little motel right across the street from a beach and lighthouse. If you love a good sun rise you can leave the curtains open and see it from the comfy bed. And on a clear night there are tons of stars. On your last day we saw a few seals playing around very close to the beach. This motel is close to all the hiking trails of Forillion park. "

"We had a lovely time at this place. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was helpful and kind. We chose to stay here because it's pet friendly. We didn't expect to have much a beautiful view to the ocean! I'd recommend this place to everyone going to Percé, as they have a tidy and well located motel for a very reasonable price. "
