"The door locks were not functioning properly. The bedding did not appear to be clean. The floor had stickiness and debris on it. The toilet seat was not fastened down properly nor was it clean. The shower was gross looking therefore I did not take a shower."

"I needed to unplug and hang out with my large breed dog and I did just that. I highly recommend to anyone who likes peace and quiet with the interest of fishing Short walking distance to the restaurants and nice dog friendly park where I got to dip my feet in the water. It’s a Very simple room with all the amenities but if I was at the room, I was mostly hanging outside in the screen in patio watching the pelicans, watching me, watching them (lol) Very nice owner on site. "

"Cute house. Watch out for the really low ceiling in the loft bedroom! Funky, fun area which seems to be slowly but surely recovering from hurricane damage. Traffic is dense due to construction/repair crews. Had a great meal at the Blue Dog Bar just down the street. "

"Amazing hotel in an amazing area. A couple things a traveler should know. If you don't have a phone (for whatever reason) you will not be able to get transportation anywhere. No taxi - no shuttle - no assistance. I understand the desire for a non-permeable mattress pad, but the plastic backing made for an uncomfortably hot - thus restless - sleep. With that much invested in the hotel and location, just a little more effort in customer service and you would have five stars all around."

"The resort was lovely, but I was very disappointed with the hefty daily resort fee that I don’t feel like I got anything out of. Also, the $150 per night damage deposit is nothing I’ve ever heard of and we have traveled the world extensively. Had I known that in advance I would have booked elsewhere."

"I like the staff and owner , they are there anytime if you have problem and safe place today, I like the lake water beside when we open the door, view was good , overall satisfied "
