People are friendly and they are trying the best to help when you have questions. One think I didn't like was the fact that dogs were not allowed (unless they are a service dog) on any of the boat trips and this is definitely not a plus.

What a wonderful boat trip - 1 hour was enough for us - try the German restaurant on the high street if you like good traditional food

Gananoque is a lovely place . Let down by over priced poor accommodation
"Very charming 6-room in-town manor. Our expansive room also had our own back porch. You are very close to the 1000-island boat tours and walking distance to a number of restaurants. Our host was awesome and we enjoyed conversation in teh common areas. The old manor may appear to be rough around the edges but everything was comfortable and the owners continue to improve. "
"Lots of restaurants within a15 min walk. There is a restaurant on site but it is never open when we have stayed their .
The only issue we had were that the floors in our room were very dirty. We had to keep our shoes on."

"Comfortable room arrangements (I needed two side by side), complementary breakfast, many restaurants and shopping options within walking distance. Very helpful and friendly staff. Convenient access to beaches and 1000 island cruises (30 minutes walk)"
