This is a great small "guest house" type of location. The rooms are spare but very clean and there's a coffee bar for the morning. The location is perfect, right on the edge of the Strand District with easy walking to restaurants, shopping and attractions. Easy walk to the Carnival cruise ship docks as well. Despite proximity to the district it's still set back in the residential area and therefore quiet in the evenings.
Perfect location for our night stay before our cruise, very close to the port. Very small space so it was adequate and what we needed for a nights stay for 2. Note: no closet or storage space so travel light when taking bags for your stay here. It wasn’t as cool as we would have liked it but the ceiling fan helped.
This place was super cute! Easy to find, a little sign outside would be nice though, just so you’re sure you’re in the right place. I also wish there was ice available. But it was very cozy and comfortable, I would definitely stay again!
This property is located in a good centralized area close to Port Galveston and the downtown area. Walking distance to cruise ships, bars, and restaurants. The rooms are small, but perfect for a couple who just needs a nights rest. Netflix is complimentary, as is the Keurig in the entryway area. Each room has its own bathroom. I highly recommend the Sunflower Bakery & Cafe, which is about 1/2 mile walk.
Easy check in, very kindly let me have a slightly extended check out time before my cruise Sunday as well! Definitely a squeeze and maybe not for big families, but perfect for a solo traveler or quick stay. The shower did blast me with cold water at one random point, but the hot water came back around so no complaints 😂
Got a text the day before the booking that the property is under renovation and that I need to get another hotel, so I had to book another one last minute.
Love the property. Great for three ladies who each like their own private room. Comfy bed and room temp and bathroom. Front porch needs 2 long benches or chairs. Had to sit on the stoop in the fog to visit and enjoy a glass of wine. Otherwise would love to come back again. Great location for the strand!
The house is a welcoming and quiet venue for quiet rest and overnight stays. Room 4 was small and cramped, but the queen sized bed was wedged into the room but was very comfortable. There was no room to walk around it. There was an in room bathroom that was clean and cramped, but it was convenient. We were able to walk to close by restaurants for dinner and breakfast. We then walked to the pier for embarkation for a cruise.
Dropped off by Uber, we found they were closed for renovation. NO Notice!
We were stranded and wound up paying for an expensive room, requiring a 45 minute walk!

It was a quaint little room. Close enough to the port so we could walk. We couldn’t find where we could control the temperature, still too warm. Ceiling fan was ticking so had a hard time sleeping. Toilet kept running and shower was leaking.
We drove almost 600 miles to find out that they didnt have a room. Was a note saying the building sold and they had zero rooms. This is on lone star rally night so finding another place was a nightmare. 0/10 thankfully hotels.com refunded our money
