"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We travel with a service dog-they made sure we had a first floor room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offered many hot items and a great selection of food and coffees. The bathroom was a little small. The only improvement I would recommend is more outlets for charging devices. Will definitely stay again. "

"I'll start by saying that I like this place, and have stayed here several times. The rooms are huge, the entire venue is smartly decorated, and the grounds are beautiful. There are fun and interesting events planned throughout the month, and the pool club is well maintained and equipped with a bar. However, expectations should be lowered regarding staff service and interactions (I've come to accept this, and simply adjust my expectations when staying here). There is a lot of "hipster aloof" and the so-called "Millennial stare" going on. You may find yourself standing in front of the check-in counter, the wonderful La Reina bar, or the Turquoise Trailer without being acknowledged by staff people, or perhaps waiting for the end of a cell phone conversation. There are exceptions, of course, and I've had wonderful encounters with many staff people over the years. Nonetheless, it's worth preparing for. There also seems to be a preference for local patrons in the bar. In spite of this, I recommend staying here, and will continue to stay here myself. "
