"This was the best part of our stay in Germany! The setting was gorgeous with a fantastic view of both the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. It was just what a pictured for a hotel in the Alps. We had a room the would accommodate 4 with a separate sleeping area with 2 double beds. Breakfast and dinner were available and were excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Thankfully everyone spoke English to accommodate us, tourists who do not speak German well."

"This is one of my favorite places for relaxing and walking. Our train was late from France and they made sure we had dinner. Staff is so helpful, food is delicious, facilities our so nice. A wonderful place."

"Hotel Sommer is a place where I could stay for a long time. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. The rooms were spotless and quiet. The food was over the top delicious and nothing was left out. And the spa with 5 saunas was top notch with a view of the lake. Overall a stunning and luxurious place to stay. "

"Excellent setting,we had a spectacular view from our balcony if you were standing, not at all if sitting in the chairs provided,the wooden balcony obscured the view completely.The room was big clean and pleasant and generally typical of a top hotel,although I have stayed in many hotels and had never stayed in one with no coffee making facilities in the room before,that was a down for me,I had to either call for room service or go down to the restaurant or bar area. The hotel seemed to be very understaffed, we waited half an hour to get a drink at the bar,we elected to leave the hotel and have drinks in the town. All in all for the price paid it fell short over my stays in budget hotels."
