"Overall we had a good stay. Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly and responsive. The room was clean and the hotel worked well for our family while we were in town for a weekend event.
We did run into a couple maintenance issues in our room. The bedroom door in our suite was very difficult to open and close and at one point almost got stuck. The sink water also came out dark each time the faucet was first turned on, which was concerning. The front desk responded quickly when we reported it and offered bottled water for the evening, which we appreciated.
Aside from those issues, the stay was comfortable and the staff was helpful. With a little attention to the maintenance items, this would easily be a 5-star experience."
"Checking in was good. I was two hours early and the lady at the front told me that my room was not ready. I went out shopping and around the check-in time I got a call that my room was ready. After check-in I found out that the hotel was almost empty. So I could not understand why my room was not ready but it is my problem because I was early.
The room was nice and clean. It was a large enough room to relax in and enjoy my two days there. It was comfortable and nice and quiet.
I read great reviews of the breakfast and I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the spread. I opted for the waffle machine but the waffle mix was overly watery and the waffles came out weird. Not entirely edible. The baggles and bread were good enough for toast. The best thing was the coffee and I had plenty.
The people at the front were very nice with the exception of the woman who checked me in.
Overall my experience was very good and I will come over and stay here again on my next visit to Seattle. "
" This hotel is always a great stay. This was the first time we had an issue. I went to the breakfast area to make a bagel for my son and one of the managers was completing the hiring process for a few employees seated at the eating tables. I overhead the manager talking about waiving the 30 minute break and audit implications and telling the new hires that they could take a 10 minute break if they needed it in their car or wherever they wanted. The manager went on to say that if 30 minute break was really needed it could be taken and at one point there was a comment about signing out. I was just trying to toast my bagel and put some cream cheese on it for my son but it was impossible not to overhear the conversation. To me it felt really unfair as I don’t think these new hires could say anything otherwise to these comments because they were accepting the job. When I left I asked a room cleaner about it and she said yes it is a labor practice issue but then said she likes working here very much and her boss is great. I asked because I really like the staff here and I was hoping I was just confused about what I thought I was hearing. Upon check out the manger in a very aggressive manner showed me the law about how an employee can waive their rights. I let her know my concern was that her new hires might not feel comfortable speaking their mind. She responded by saying they would feel comfortable and that she mentioned that aspect in the very early hiring stage too. She went o"
"What a beautiful location and I got lucky and got the one bedroom suite which was awesome. As someone who is from Seattle, this is a great area of town to stay in."
