"Amazing place. The guest houses are within the actual vineyard. You feel connected to the vineyard and working farm. The staff is also amazing and friendly. Definitely try the pizza restaurant that is located on the property."

"The property itself and the people are amazing, especially Mathew and the gentleman at the first gate-his name has just escaped me. The few things that I didn’t enjoy is the privacy regarding the bathroom and ablution facilities. I would also have loved to have a private bar fridge. I wish I had more time to visit and utilise all their wonderful facilities. I strongly feel that I should come back soon. "

"We returned to The Clermot again this year and stayed in the same room. We love the peacefulness and the view from the room is stunning. Breakfast seemed a tad disorganised this time (one day no bowls, another no jams, then no napkins) Our room.had a patch on the ceiling that had been repaired but not painted, the large lamp.didnt work( maybe bulb needs replacing) & one of the curtains had a water.stain. Nothing major just small.things - it wouldnt stop us from returning. "

"Bloemenzee Boutique B&B is a true gem hidden in the hills of Gordon’s Bay. The beautiful house and backyard with palms and pools will let you feel like you stepped into paradise the moment you checked in. And your unbelievably lovely and warm hosts Lidwien & Frans will make you not want to leave anytime soon after. Next to our great stay, we also enjoyed a tasty 3 course dinner provided by Frans, another recommendation! In one word: wow! We definitely want to come again. "

"Beware - The lodge is not serving its inclusive breakfast and doesn't compensate for its absence. The housekeeper was charming and efficient but the manager was elusive and hasn't responded to communications. We had just stayed at a guest house a few km to the north where we had a lovely daily breakfasts so unclear why DWWL couldn't provide what we had paid for. A voucher, or some Rand, to use at a local cafe would have been sufficient. "
