Overall the property was nice, but service can be improved. The amenities are limited and they did not offer information on hours, room service, dining options etc. I had to go to the website to find this information. The resort fee seemed high for the limited amenities.

Great location, right on the beach with super friendly staff and good amenities. The property has received a face lift but still needs some attention to detail and improvements (older bathrooms in particular). We received an upgrade to an ocean view room which was spacious, clean and as the name suggests, had an amazing ocean view.

The property needs minor capital improvement. Cracks in our sink and bathtub. Toilet seat was damaged. Minor Reno’s required but otherwise it was very clean and staff were amazing

We (family of 3 with 8yo) stayed at the Beachcomber Resort for 5 nights over Christmas. Our kid loved the resort and the heated pool. We booked a standard double room, but were put in one of the ground level villas that appeared to be retrofitted to a hotel room rather than in the tower (kitchen was stripped, but it did have a fridge which was a nice perk). This turned out to be great because our kid could run around in the large green space outside our front door and it was easy to go back and forth from the pool/restaurant. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Buildings and rooms show signs of age, though it appears there's an ongoing effort to spruce them up. Everything functioned fine, but the shower/bath was the area that was most obviously needing to be updated. Gas torches in our area were not functioning during our stay, which would've been a nice touch of ambience given the early sunset in the winter. Some of them were back on for our last night, so maybe they're being fixed? Restaurant and cafe were fine. Very friendly service, but quality was average and price was on the higher end. Expect to spend 25$/person for breakfast and $50/person for lunch/dinner. No outside food or drink allowed on the private beach area or pools, expect to purchase any beverages from the restaurant bar. Was was nice to have the self-park option, but valet was the same price if that's your preference.

We had a wonderful stay in December 2024. We were a larger group and they accommodated us by putting our rooms together. There were dining option onsite and close to the hotel. The beach was beautiful!!!

Well we arrived on Sunday. I've never had a problem going through Expedia but they didn't want to accommodate us with a new room when I complained. We had a hand towel and wash cloth when we arrived. Floor was unswept and floors dirty. I tried to make coffee with machine in the room but it was sticky and gross. I took a picture of our socks after we the the first few hours in the room they were so dirty. But they couldn't move us to a new room because we were a 3 party and it would be an upcharge
