"Villa Aida è stata una piacevole sorpresa, struttura in posizione tranquilla comoda ai mezzi pubblici 5 minuti a piedi dal lungomare e dal centro di Forio. La colazione viene servita in una piacevole terrazza panoramica ombreggiata da splendidi pini domestici. Il bilocale dove abbiamo soggiornato di recente ristrutturazione pulito e ordinato . "It was a decent place to lay your head at especially for the price.The rooms were hot and stuffy, only one fan per room and certain people would hog it up for themselves. The staff was nice when I checked in but after that, there was no communication really. That didn’t bother me bc I keep to myself but I did notice the difference. I stayed in a room with a balcony and got scared at one point bc I heard someone climbing the balcony and getting in my room, I believe it was one of the owners lol...

"Carlo, the owner is really nice and does its maximum to help. The view from the terasse is just stunning. The breakfast is wonderful and I strongly encourage you to take the dinner option because it was delicious. The room was large and nice but we miss a tea/coffee in room and the pool seems not very well maintained."

"I have traveled all over the world and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever walked into. The outside of the hotel looks nice, but the photos on the site are very deceptive to what the rooms are actually like. The place needs torn down and severely renovated. Bugs in the bedding and unclean/wet floor. It was so bad that I walked into the room set my stuff down and booked another hotel right away because there was yelling in the hallway and didn’t feel safe. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE......

The owners and staff were fantastic couldn't do enough for you.the views where to die for with the whole of the bay infront of you from my bedroom window. "This beautiful medieval villa was a perfect destination. The building and its grounds are breathtaking ! The courtyard is the perfect place to enjoy the delicious included breakfast or a lemon cello spritzer in the afternoon. Our room was actually a suite with an enormous private terrace. A stay at Villa Avellino is a dream come true!"

"We would come back to Ischia just to stay here again!!!!! The hotel is wonderful! The gardens and grounds are beautiful. Our room felt like it was tucked away in a garden. Private , huge, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was the largest we had while traveling Italy. Now let’s talk about dining… Oh my gosh! Breakfast is awesome. There are so many delicious choices you might forget to go out and explore. Beautiful baked good, omelette station, Fruit, fresh granolas and big displays of their honey. And there is always a mimosas station. The service is top notch and so attentive. We ordered espresso the first morning and never had to order again it was brought when we sat down each morning. We stopped a couple of times at the small bar. The drinks were so perfect and the snacks from the chef each night were a wonderful surprise. Service was perfect. We actually had friends that stay down the hill on the water at a VERY exclusive and very expensive hotel that we invited for drinks and dinner one night. We had cocktails first and the lovely bar and the. dinner in the restaurant. They commented that our hotel was way better than theirs and the food and service was outstanding. We stayed in one rainy day for Spa and Lunch by the pool. The thermal pools are so lovely. They have several water falls that you can stand under that beats down on your neck for a nice massage. There are bubble chairs where you can relax and soak in the rich minerals. Perfect!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff were lovely and helpful. A special mention for Nicole, grandson of the owner, for his kindness and good humour. Breakfast was very good, and the thermal pools were gorgeous. Dining a la carte was a challenge for one of us but only because food containing octopus was not for that palette. Lunch is located separately from the evening dining rooms with a delightful view out to sea and good choices on the menu. The set evening menu tended to be better i.e. less adventurous. Of course this is all a matter of personal taste. Getting round the island is really easy by bus and it is not expensive to do so. The hotel provides an excellent shuttle service to Panza, which is a good walk up hill from the hotel to catch the buses. The shuttle will also pick up from Panza if you are not able or willing to walk back from there. This place is definitely worth a visit. "

"Very Nice pool but the other facilities and rooms are not great. Front desk staff are very helpful but the service throughout the hotel is a bit lacking We had booked three rooms but when we were shown to them none of them ready. The shower leaked and the coffee and breakfast were not very appetizing."

"The property is uniquely beautiful with pool and sea to swim in, thermal pools, a spa and tennis court as well as cocktail area, restaurant and lunch restaurant. Very relaxing . Excellent staff. Some walking up and down stairs required but a golf cart is available for part of it. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Property was nice, a bit spread out but that’s ok. We stayed in the block of rooms across the road from the main hotel. The check in was easy, they ordered scooters for us and they were delivered to the hotel. The bar was nice and had nice staff. Live music every night, and the spa in the hotel. The thermal pools are nice but a bit smelly due to the sulphur. The beach was great, but didn’t offer services so you had to go get your own drinks at the bar. Was in a great location and walking distance to many restaurants. Breakfast was ok, lots of sweet breads and rolls, would be nice if there were more options for fresh fruit. Enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights, would come back again"
