"The pyjamas provided were not very comfortable. Why do they not provide the yukata, which is common for ryokans of this class? Also, the lack of towels in the bathing area was not convenient. Breakfast buffet was good. We did not use the dinner buffet. However, the cafe for a lighter meal turned out to be the best option for us., with wonderful service by the man who ran the entire cafe on his own."

"Property is old but clean. Not sure how it gets a 9.2 on Hotels, but I’ve always found the site to overhype hotels. There is a musty smell throughout and mildew on the tiling. That said, it was very clean and comfortable so I can’t fault the staff for much. "

"First, the Route Inn chain is equivalent to "Motel 8" or the "Red Roof Inn" in concept. So, this no-frills hotel is not meant to be a full service establishment. With this in mind, this hotel far exceeded our expectations! It is situated steps from the JR Obihiro Station, and there are many restaurants and bars only a couple of blocks away.
