"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"This is a beautiful and well situated hotel. The lake views are spectacular and everything you’d want them to be. The breakfast is superb as well and sure to please everyone. The only thing to note is that the shower can be a little tricky to step in and out of because the tub is very deep. "

Hotel is directly opposite the station and seems to be built into side of a hill as the 4th floor is directly above reception. Plenty of eateries in the area and backs onto lake Leman so easy to step onto the lakeside promenade and walk round to the Chateau de Chiffon and past the old Casino. The biggest failing was that there does not appear to be any direct access from the hotel to the lake...

"Outstanding hotel with excellent and very helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone going to Montreux. Hotel is directly opposite the station and seems to be built into side of a hill as the 4th floor is directly above reception. Plenty of eateries in the area and backs onto lake Leman so easy to step onto the lakeside promenade and walk round to the Chateau de Chiffon and past the old Casino. The biggest failing was that there does not appear to be any direct access from the hotel to the lake side of the property, you have to cone out on the side facing the station and use the public stairs/escalators on the side of the building."
